LHC Procurement Group has been supporting public sector organisations with technical procurement for over 50 years.
Who we are
LHC Procurement Group delivers a simple core service. We bring buyers and suppliers together to build, refurbish and maintain social housing and public property more efficiently and cost effectively, and to benefit the local community. Created for local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies, our frameworks are procured in accordance with The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and are free to use.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we return any surplus to our associate partners to improve social value outcomes in accordance with our vision ‘improving lives and places through quality procurement solutions’.
LHC Procurement Group operates across England, Scotland and Wales connecting construction companies, manufacturers and service providers with the needs of our clients.
How we are governed
LHC Procurement Group is a not-for-profit, Company Limited by Guarantee, with over half of our Board of Directors appointed by bodies governed by public law. This structure grants LHCPG central purchasing body and contracting authority status, in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
Our mission to improve lives and places through quality procurement solutions is realised by reinvesting our surplus funds into community benefit and social value projects, supporting the communities we and our clients serve rather than distributing profits to shareholders.

The organisation was established by London Boroughs in 1966 and now has offices and field based staff throughout England, Wales and Scotland. More than 700 public organisations have used our frameworks.
